An unforgettable experience for the children at Moonnumury Conquering the hearts of the children of St. John the Baptist Church, Moonnumury, Aflame
2k22—a three-day camp animated by Don Bosco Youth Services, Kerala came to a fruitful
conclusion on 21 April, 2022. Fr. Jenson, provincial, inaugurated the camp during the gathering presided over
by Fr.Sunny Kalampanathadathil, the parish priest. The combined effort of the Salesians led by Fr. Manu Michael SDB was widely appreciated by the children, teachers, and parents alike. Aflame-2k22 attended by 500 children aimed at leading the children back to the parish and reigniting their active participation in the church which was suspended due to the outbreak of COVID-19 across the globe. Various sessions, activities, discussions, and games contributed successfully to the actualization of this aim. Commenting on the success of Aflame 2k22, Fr. Sunny said that it would be one of the best camps ever organized in the parish during its 100 years of existence. The members of the parish extended their heartfelt gratitude to DBYS Kerala for its efforts and commitment in animating the children of the parish.
