Don Bosco Youth Services, Kerala, organized Season 2 of Don Bosco Premier League Inter-Youth Centre 7’s Football Tournament at Don Bosco Bhavan, Mannuthy, on December 10, 2022. This year, the tournament was hosted under the aegis of the Youth Centre at Don Bosco Bhavan, Mannuthy. Ten teams, namely DBYC Thope, DBYC Mundackal, DBYC Alappuzha, DBYC Ollukkara, DBYC Vaduthala, Don Bosco Bhavan Mannuthy, DBYC Aluva, DBYC Bathery, DBYC Irinjalakuda and DBYC Sachivithampuram, participated in the tournament.
All the teams played exceptionally well during the tournament. The four teams that qualified for the semi-finals were DBYC Thope, DBYC Vaduthala, DBYC Ollukkara and DBYC Mannuthy Bhavan. DBYC Thope and DBYC Mannuthy Bhavan qualified towards the finals, with DBYC Mannuthy Bhavan emerging as the champions.
The respective titles were won by the following players:
Top Scorer – Manu (DBYC Thope)
Best Player – Sachu (DBYC Mannuthy Bhavan)
Best Goal Keeper – Lijith (DBYC Mannuthy Bhavan)
Best Defender – Abhi (DBYC Mannuthy Bhavan)
