Kochi (Metro): On the occasion of World Environmental Day, Don Bosco Youth Services, Kerala came together with Carben & Whale to observe the day in a meaningful way. The event was conducted at Edapally Metro Station and saw the launch of Carben & Whale’s new product.
The venture was sponsored by JWS Cements, while Biscon Media took care of the arrangements. The event was inaugurated by Mr. Loknath Behara, Managing Director of Kochi Metro. The products showcased were made from recyclable plastic wastes, and were converted into buches for the use of passengers.
Sidharth, the founder director of the startup, spoke about the features of the product. Fr. Manu, the director of the youth service, was also present at the event and expressed his views on how the environment should be protected and preserved. Youth from Don Bosco Youth Centre, Thope organised flash mobs at different locations in Ernakulam to spread the message.
The programme went a long way in spreading the message of protecting the environment and created a great impact among the general public. The youth services thanked Carben & Whale and all other sponsors for their contribution in making it a successful event.
