Don Bosco Youth Forum celebrated the International Day of Peace

As part of the UN International Day of Peace, Don Bosco Youth Forum, with the cooperation of FCDP, organized a flash mob and various programs at Thangassery Breakwater and Kollam Beach on Saturday, September 23 at 5 pm.
Mundakkal Ward Councilor Mr. Sajeev Soman released the symbolic pigeon and Pallithottam Councilor Mr. Tommy Napoleon delivered the message of peace. Kumari Sanjana Shaji spoke about the importance of World Peace Day. Hundreds of spectators and young people lit the lamp and took the oath led by Kumari Rochelle Maria as part of the World Peace Day celebrations. The Youth Forum hoisted a colourful kite as a symbol of peace. DBYF President Kumari Shruti Johny offered the vote of thanks.
DBYF Director Fr. Joby Sebastian, Assistant Director Fr. Jithin, TMS Assistant Director C. Mary K, DBYF Coordinator Mrs. Mary John, FCDP members, coordinators and animators participated in the event. Don Bosco Youth Forum has come forward with the aim of raising awareness of the importance of peace and the need to work towards a more peaceful and harmonious world.
