With the objective of fostering civic responsibility and social awareness among the younger generation, the Don Bosco Youth Centre had it’s membership day at Kochi. The function was officially opened by Mr. Fulgen K. J. Sub-Inspector of Police, Mattancherry Wing, Recipient of the 2025 Chief Minister’s Police Medal for Meritorious Service.
The function was presided over by Fr. Abhilash Palakudiyil, Director, DBYC Kochi . The keynote address was delivered by Fr. John Muttathuparambil, Regional Director of DBYC Kerala.
Other dignitaries who addressed the gathering included Fr. Bino (Director, Cochin City Annex Night Shelter), Fr. M. A. John (Administrator, Don Bosco Sneha Bhavan), Fr. Joyson Mulavarickal (Director, Sneha Bhavan), Fr. Antony Panickarukunnel, Director DBYC Kollam, Br. Jaison Jerome, Assistant Director DBYC Kochi.
The event concluded with cultural performances by the youth.
